OK, here is a little info on the Japanese Sera Myu.

SPECIAL EFFECTS~

In some of the Sera Myu, for the attacks, they just use a bunch of flashing lights and small explosions.

For the transformation, sometimes they have a blackout and a stunt double will run in and take place of the actress and dance and stuff while the actress is offstage changing into fuku. Then another blackout will accour and the actress will run back on as the senshi. Sometimes a large screen will just come down and it will have the transformation from the anime. In the S Musical, a character is lifted offstage, transforms, and then comes back down. Pegusus in the SuperS musical, was all made out of a special thing of lights.

MUSIC~

"La Moon" is the song being sang usually when fighting the final enemy.

COSTUMES~

The fuku is really good. They look just like the anime fuku. They seem to improve with every musical. The villains costumes are really good also!
